Summary

Finish: Original finish.

Body Material: Maple

Top Material: Maple

Neck Material: Maple

Neck Profile: C

Neck Thickness (IN): 1st - 0.82" 12th - 0.86"

Fingerboard Radius: 9.50"

Nut Width: 1-11/16"

Scale Length: 25 1/2"

Electronics: Original electronics. The guitar has two humbuckers, a three-way output control switch, two three-way pickup selector switches, two three-way tone switches, and two volume pots. The output control switch in its topmost position splits the EAD and GBE string sides of the pickups and sends them out separate left-right outputs. In its middle position, it sends the full pickup output to only one side, and in its lowest position, it sends full pickup output to both sides equally. Both sets of pickup selector, tone selector, and volume pot control the EAD and GBE sides of the pickups separately.

Pickup Measurements: N/A - can't be measured due to wiring scheme.

Hardware: Original hardware.

Weight: 8 lbs 12 oz

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gretsch guitar is in good condition. The finish is glossy with some light surface scratching. The back of the headstock shows a repaired center seam separation running down its length; this is stable and will not affect playability. The end of the headstock shows some light dings. The metal hardware shows some light tarnish.

Modifications/Repairs: A center seam separation running down the back of the headstock has been repaired.

Serial Number: 6-9635

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are narrow and medium height with minimal play wear.

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
